Of course that's just the figure for 2007 - which is about 35 dates or so. Van Halen will have more than doubled that come the end of the tour.

If they would have toured over the Summer, they would have made 2nd place on that list. Even with the ticket prices being considerably less than The Police's.

Van Halen beat the 2004 Van Hagar/Mike combo hands down - that complete tour made over $40 million, compared to Van Halen's $56 million from only half a tour.
