Why aren't they exploiting the illustrious VH catalogue and archives in which they had originally paid for?

This makes no sense to me.

I don't think they have to. I'll bet the original releases are selling like mad with this tour going on.

Yeah, thats a fair point for the orginal 6 releases. They must be selling at a fair click.

Actually, I was just reading where WB have re-released all 6 CD's in the original Vinyl format in Japan (CD sized cardboard case and paper sleeve, artwork etc). Sounds pretty cool.

I'm thinking about all that unreleased material (footage, photo's, songs etc) that WB paid for, and exclusively own, which never made the light of day. When Prince left WB, they raided his (their) shelves for about 2 (or more) records worth of original unreleased material. Prince didn't care, I think both those records went top 5, he still got his royalties.

So come on WB - cough up, lickety split!!!
