Wolfgang Is Optimistic About his Father's Recovery

Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen, spoke to People magazine at Nickolodeon's 2008 Kid's Choice Awards last Saturday about his father's current mystery condition.

"Don't listen to the rumors — he's doing great — seriously!" said Wolfgang. "We're starting up in Reno in mid-April, so it'll be fun."

Neither Van Halen management or tour promoters have revealed what exactly Eddie is being treated for.

What's funny is the Nick Kid's Choice awards are becoming like a huge event, more and more celebs are showing up..

Good to hear this, Iro, thanks...I'm glad to know that Wolf has confidence that whatever this is, Edward will be able to take care of it---I have to think that if it were something horrible and serious, Wolf would be somewhat less than upbeat about his dad's progress...
