Did Eddie use the EVH Custom Shop P/U's on his wolfie's, or did he use Peavey P/U's?

I was digging through my old mags and found in a Peavey monitor, a Wolfgang ad which says (for the Wolfgang) " two Peavey humbucking p/u's, custom wound to Ed's strict spec's. " And (for the special) "two Peavey EVH humbucking p/u's "

Bottom line: I know less than I did to start with!!?!

I just wanted to know, I have no intentions of getting Wolf PU's on my guitar. I'm gonna get a Wolfgang.

Keep the EVH Peavey pups it comes with, though.
Part of the appeal of the Wolf is those hot pickups, brother.

I don't plan on changing the P/U's on the Wolf, but it's gonna be a while before I get one.

Sure they were wound in Korea, but still to Ed's specs.
