FT Lauderdale is about 13 hours away, it's gonna be hard as hell to convince my parents to take me. It's gonna be hard because my mom hates Van Halen, especially Dave. But, I've got my dad on my side!, but that still don't mean shit.

Yeah i saw them in the Alstate Arena on Oct 16 and my parents were kind of mad because they paid 100 bucks for the ticket so it might be hard for me to go this time. Im praying they will pay for it because i thought they were awsome.

I'd love to see them again, but I don't know if I want to spend the money to see them again.

Hard choice. I say spend the money on your guitar, you've already given Ed enough money, now do something to honor him.

That's a good idea, I'd rather spend it on a guitar. But first I have to get a bit better. :D

I just went to their website to see if there was any news as to Ed's health and medical tests, and in perusing the concert dates (which have been switched around and around) I found out that they've rescheduled the March 3 Dallas show to April Freakin' 24th!!!!!!! I'll be IN Dallas then!!!!!!!! **big smile** Sh*t, now I have to figure out how to justify forking over the cash again....am I being too greedy?? Should a girl get to see her idols 3 times in the space of 7 months?? I am quite beside myself and clearly have some thinking and planning to do....man oh man would that be too much fun....

As long as spending the money on another show won't hurt you finacially I think you should. You never know with Van Halen, this might be the last time you will be able to see them with Dave. But then again, they could go on another tour next year. It's really anyone's guess.

Go see 'em. Didn't you tell me that your son hasn't seen them yet? Take him and let Edward blow his freaking mind.
