I was gonna post this this morning but it looked like a rumor but it is true. A water main broke near Eddie's residence/studio. So far it looks like the only damage was mud flooding into his swimming pool.

I heard it flooded his basement but people at our "sister site (I'm going to have my ass chewed for that comment)" say that his house was sandbaged. And no damage other than his pool. Thanks for posting this Badass.

That studio sucked anyway. Sounds like another excuse why there wont be anything new in 2008.

Ronald McDonald had his time. It just seemed that those three were thrown together.

Hopefully the flood got rid of the Ronald McDonald stench and they do some new stuff with Dave.

Are you more of a Roth or Hagar fan?

To be honest, I started off a Hagar fan. Then VHI sorta changed me, VHII completly changed me. WACF was just the icing on the cake. I still have 5150, F.U.C.K., Right Here Right Now, & Balance. Balance was the best of them all. Hagar that is. WACF is the best of my collection. I have 5 and plan on getting Fair Warning.

F.U.C.K is the best Hagar album. But then again 5150 is so loaded with guitar its unreal.

Balance had to much of a dark side. Ever notice all the instrumentals?

Sure Balance had a dark side, thats whats so good about it. They finally got back (some what) to what made them who they were. Riffs like I'm the One, Atomic Punk, & On Fire are clearly better riffs than songs like Feelin', Seventh Seal, Don't Tell Me & Amsterdam, but I liked it. Edward went from a Heavy Metal Richie Blackmore to a pop-rock Kirk Hammet when he left Roth or Roth left him.
The only good songs on F.U.C.K. are Spanked, Poundcake, & 316.

Todays guitarists only know Edward as that dude witht the stripped guitar not for the guitar god that he is. Edward is the best guitarist I have ever heard and I am proud as hell to say that I own a MXR EVH Phase 90.

I'd like to have that Phaser.
But not at the moment.

ed is the best period.

But todays music is about soloing.
But i totally get into Avenged sevenfold, only because they have an 80's blend.

ohmygod! of course! duh....it just wasn't clicking in my brain, since it's not one I listen to frequently. and when I do, i skip over those 3 songs--you're right, they do sound as if they were just thrown together. that breakfast song is about THE most stupid thing I've ever heard....
