IronicA has resigned as a Moderator from Classic Van Halen.com. For those who don't know he was/is one of my best friends, he has said he is gone.

He will be missed!

Why did they leave that site?

He was being accused of being another member, Emma Peel. His best friends Unchained (who believed him at first) turned against him when Unchaineds best friend Jane came to town. i1sum2! never stopped accusing him, plus he was getting kind of tired of the place so he just left.

Interesting. But people get accused of that stuff everywhere.
Its nothing new.

Thats true. Sometimes people believe what they want and ignore the truth.

I haven't even clued in on any of it yet as I've been using all my bandwidth downloading/uploading two DVD's and they're taking almost a week... each! I can't even navigate on chv.com anymore (it was always stalling to start with) much less keep track of things. I also posted 3 attachments at DDLR yesterday and it took a whole bloody hour!

Anyway, none of this sounds like any reason for Iro to leave and resign. It makes no sense at all. He's been coming and going for a while. He might just need a break is all. He posted a very early holiday greeting but he could be planning a trip or something.

Whatever is goin' on, I'm sure it can be worked out.

I don't doubt that all the Ed-bashing that has been going on there is starting to take it's toll on some. I see it on every board... personally, I can't handle it anymore.

Edtard deserves all the bashing that comes his way. He not only pissed away years of music. But wasted a lot of other peoples time.

From what he told me he was pretty offended at being called a liar over and over whenever he denied he was Mrs. Peel. Since she was attacking you and AJ, he saw that as an accusation that he loathed you and AJ, and needed to create her so he could carry out such attacks. That's a pretty serious accusation to throw at someone, implying that level of sickness....And right, like if Iro had a problem with anyone, he'd have any trouble stating his case, pure and simple, and in his own voice.

That's all he told me.....

A.J., get your facts straight before you speak. I never accused Ironica of being Emma Peel. I posed the question asking if they were one in the same person. You were fooled into thinking they were the same simply because of their vernacular. You speculate too much. And overreact.

No, it isn't the same thing. I didn't say "Ironica is Emma Peel" and I'll dig up that one if need be. It was the only post that I said anything about the matter. It's not like I continually went on about this as you seem to think. Perhaps you just want to accuse me of this.

I personally don't care one way or the other if they were the same person. But they aren't so give it a rest.
