Mofo, the 5150 didn't come around until 86', so I am moving this. But, if you want to create one for his other Kramer then you can.

I thought Ed had that guitar since '83 he used it on the 1984 tour did he not? I thought he used it for the beat it solo too but don't quote me.

There are 2 Kramers, the 84' and the 5150.

Well we were both right, Edward played the 84 in the vid for Panama and the 5150 in the vid for HFT so it doesn't matter which forum.

They were both around for quite a while.

The 5150 is alright, but I wouldn't call it my favorite.

Well it's not my favorite, it's one of my favorites, if I had to pick a favorite I'd pick the bee.

The reason I like the 5150 so much is because in the LWAN videos was the first time I visually saw Ed and he was playing this sweet guitar and it was the 5150.

That's right, and my point is they were both played by Eddie long before 1986.

Ed started playing Kramers on the Diver Down tour and I believe he played it on the record too. The little guitar only made 1 apperence, and that was on Little Guitars of course.
I think Full Bug, Hang Em' High, Dancing In The Streets, Secrets & Pretty Woman were all played on the Frankie.
Where Have All the Good Times Gone? was played on the Shark.

I would pick a Wolfgang or an EBMM over a Kramer

I like the paint on the 5150 so I'd rather have the Kramer, but I think technically the EBMM or Wolfgang would be a better guitar, but the price of a EBMM or a Wolfgang are a lot higher than a striped Kramer.

I love the Wolfgangs, I would take them over any guitar other than a Frankie.

whats interesting about the 5150 kramer is this. Its basically a Baretta.

All baretta's had a black floyd out of the factory. But Ed has a chrome one on his.

Just odd.

I've never played a Wolfgang, I'd love to play one. They are really good looking guitars. But, I've heard that EBMMs are better, not sure if they are or not, considering I haven't played either. I have played a OLP EBMM, the copy one and didn't really like the guitar much, but I think it was because of the strat bridge.

I got the OLP MM copy. Got it for my kid at GC for $119.
I put the EBMM pickups in it and it sounds great.
Later this year were gonna put a floyd in it for him.

Sure they are cheap, but they look great, and with the right amp or effects can sound good.

I played an OLP MM a while ago, like when I was shopping for my second guitar, I really didn't know what I liked and didn't like. But now, I wish I would have gotten one of those.
Do you own a Wolfie or a EBMM?
