Well, the technology has progressed and so I will show you a simple process to download youtube videos and subsequently use them on your iPod.

Ok, so go to dvdvideosoft.com and download "Free youtube to ipod and psp converter." There are other screen formats, file extensions, etc, that you can save to. Once you have this installed,
1) Find the desired Video
2) Copy and Paste into the URL box in the converter.
3) Go to the output file box, and rename it as desired. Just don't mess with the file extensions. OR, go back afterwards and rename it.
4) Using iTunes, import it in, (I use add files or add folders; more time effective.)
5) Change it to the music video playlist, add artist info, etc. (This can all be found by right-clicking and going to "Get Info," search around in this window, because I'm not sure which tab is which right now; too slow of a computer. Click on the tabs at the top.)

That should do you in! Enjoy!
