HAHAHA! I've been speaking this way for so long, I forget sometimes that other people who haven't don't necessarily understand it. It's English, obviously, but using a dialect that was prominent in Elizabethan times--Shakespeare is a great example of it. I'm not totally authentic with my usage, but as long as it sounds close, most faire folk don't know the difference. I'll give you the gist of what we said:

Iro: Rav! What's causing you to leave us, work?

Ravenna: Yes, the need for money impels me to travel from here in PA to AZ, where there are lots of people who will buy my stuff. While it makes me sad I don't get to hang out with you guys, I'm happy to know that you have come back. Maybe once in awhile we'll be on at the same time, and can talk.

Does that clear it up for you, AJ?

Though my moments of presence here sha'n't be so numbered as the very blades of grass in the meadow, our mutual misfortune will not prove o'er tedious--I shall be here from time to time.

He's offline for an indefinite period of time. I spoke to him at That Other Place because something he posted disturbed me enough to ask, and he was not in a happy place, shall we say. I promised him I wouldn't divulge the whys and hows, but I think he's doing better now--he posted once or twice since then, and that leads me to believe life's getting back on an even keel for him. There was just a situation he was involved in that he and his folks decided it would help to resolve if he wasn't spending so much time online--no he wasn't being harassed online-- it was just, in his folks' view, contributory to the overall situation.
